The department is actively engaged in teaching, research and patient care activities since its inception. Various services offered to the patients are External beam radiotherapy, brachytherapy and chemotherapy. OPD services are provided 6 days a week with nearly 45000 OPD cases (new and follow up) in a year. Emergency services are given 24/7

Joined as a lecturer in 2014 at J.K. Cancer Institute, Kanpur. Attended various National and International conferences and participated as a coordinator of national and state AROI activities. Organized CME, workshop, conferences at national level and various cancer awareness campaigns in school and villages. Presently members of various scientific committees and organization. Received AROI fellowship award (< 35 yrs.) in 2012 - 13. Published articles and papers in various national & international journals with 12 years of teaching and research experience. Area of interest in all type of solid tumor by modern radiotherapy, chemotherapy and immunotherapy.

Associate Professor Radiotherapy

Trained at SGPGI Lucknow (MD, Radiation Oncology) and AIIMS New Delhi (SR). Former Consultant, Max Saket, New Delhi. Dr. Raza brings over 13 years of experience in cancer treatment, teaching, and research. A Gold Medalist in MBBS, he has also been recognized with gold medal in UP AROI Quiz (2011) and presented Best Paper at the National AROI Conference (2010). His expertise spans advanced radiation techniques (IMRT, IGRT, SBRT, SRS, IORT), brachytherapy, interstitial radiotherapy, and chemotherapy for solid malignancies. He has authored more than 14 publications in reputed journals, with a special focus on breast, head & neck, gastrointestinal, genitourinary, and gynaecological cancers.Guided by the belief that quality of life is as vital as precision, Dr. Raza ensures every patient feels supported throughout their cancer journey - working with the motto 'Simplifying Cancer Care with Compassion.'

Anaesthesia Pain & Palliative Care

Anaesthesiology is the branch of medicine dedicated to inducing anaesthesia and better patient management during surgical procedures. We provide anaesthesia services for surgeries as well as brachytherapy. Along with this, anaesthesia is provided at peripheral locations like MRI, CT whenever required. In Pre-Anaesthetic Clinic (PAC) the doctors are especially focussed on optimisation of patients with respect to safety during and after surgery beforehand. PAC Clinic runs on Tuesday and Friday. Pain relief and comfort to cancer patients is also an armamentarium of Pain Clinic, which provides services daily from Monday to Saturday.

Medical Physics

Radiological Physics is a branch of science in which the concept and methods of physics are applied to the diagnosis and treatment of human disease. The department of radiological physics provides scientific experts and support for the radiotherapy department in the area of cancer treatment, for the radiology department in the area of diagnostics x-rays imaging.They also monitor equipment and procedures through quality assurance programs to ensure that cancer patients receive the prescribed dose of radiation to the correct location.
